Being my fourth race day at Chicagoland Motor Speedway, I thought I had my technique figured out. However, it didn’t take me long to figure out getting sharp, quality photographs of IndyCars travelling over 215mph was way more difficult than doing the same thing with the 180mph NASCAR Truck, Nationwide, and Cup cars.
On a side note, I love that the IRL pit pass is also a garage (paddock?) pass. Being inches from the cars, crews, and cars is an awesome experience!
These are some of my better results from the IndyCar 2009 Peak 300. I hope you enjoy them.
